If given another chance to make certain decisions again and knowing what I know now, I might want to do things differently but who I am now, surrounded by the people I have now, wouldn't be possible if I hadn't gone through the path that I did. > >Life is like a game with a lot more randomness - you don't get to choose where you start or what character you get or what guild you're a part of at birth. That's all just randomly assigned. Past that, you make decisions, observe the outcome and make more decisions to, hopefully, steer you towards your eventual preferred outcome. The mistakes we make and the lessons we learn from them serve to guide us to where our priorities are. > >The fate truly worth regretting, I think, is lying on one's deathbed and realising only then that the person has lived an entire life without realising the mistakes made and therefore never getting the chance to course correct. > [[Blog - Home|< Return to Blog - Home]] --- To have a conversation with me about this note, email me at [email protected] To understand why I chose to use email over comments, [[Why I'm using email instead of comments|read this]].
