There are times when this results in others doubting my intentions or assuming that I may have an intent to deceive when I try to be genuinely kind unconditionally. I can't control what they think because that's a trauma they have to resolve on their own. What I can control is what I do - do I continue to be genuine and honest with myself and others? Or do I walk away?
